Google Maps → LinkedIn: how local businesses become a campaign list
Search a local category on Google Maps, import name, phone, and website into 12Pilot, then run LinkedIn outreach on the same list. LinkedIn search will not do this.

Sales Navigator is strong when the buyer lives on LinkedIn with a clean title. It is weak when the buyer is “the owner of the HVAC company on that street.” Those people are on Google Maps with a phone and a website. They may have a LinkedIn profile that search never surfaces with your filters.

12Pilot’s Google Map Extractor is the extra pipe: search a local category, bring the business into the same database as LinkedIn leads, then run a campaign without a CSV round-trip through three tools.
What you import
From a Maps-style search you typically get name, phone, website, plus the query you used (city, category, radius). That is enough to:
- Deduplicate against people already in the workspace
- Find matching LinkedIn profiles where they exist
- Keep the phone for the closer who still calls
- Enroll the row in a LinkedIn sequence once you have a profile URL
We do not pretend Maps is a LinkedIn graph. If there is no profile, you still have a local record. If there is a profile, it becomes a normal 12Pilot lead with campaign history.
When this beats Sales Nav
- Agencies selling to clinics, gyms, restaurants, law offices, contractors
- A city or neighborhood quota, not a job-title quota
- A list your competitor already farmed on LinkedIn titles like “Founder”
When this does not beat Sales Nav: enterprise ICP defined by headcount, department, and tech stack. Use LinkedIn / Sales Nav extract for that, then score. Mixing both in one workspace is the point — one Unibox, one campaign engine.
The path in 12Pilot
- Run the Maps search for the category and area you actually sell.
- Import into a list. Do not enroll 2,000 rows on day one.
- Match LinkedIn profiles where you can. Skip or call the rest.
- Score or filter: website present, size guess from the Maps category, city.
- Build or attach a sequence. Respect seat limits.
- Optional: send the same ICP through AI Outreach so the model drafts copy and you still approve send.
Hygiene so the list does not rot
Local data goes stale. A restaurant closes. A phone redirects. Keep the source query on the list so you can refresh the same geo later instead of merging mystery CSVs. When a LinkedIn invite is pending for weeks, withdraw it — Maps volume is useless if the seat is invite-capped.
Replies still land in Unibox with every other LinkedIn seat. The SDR should not have a Maps inbox and a LinkedIn inbox. See Unibox for multiple seats.
LinkedIn will not export Google Maps into a campaign. 12Pilot will. Start from 12pilot.net if that is the missing pipe on your stack.
